"Joyalty" 2021

“Rococo: Poetry & seduction. "

This pink leather "slipper" is a personal interpretation of the shoe worn in the painting « Les Hasards heureux de l’escarpolette ».  A young woman in a pink dress swings, revealing her legs to her lover and turning her back to her husband. The slipper suddenly leaves its foot, dashes forward and takes the trajectory of seduction.

Musings, the shoe in this canvas, tools of romance, creates the illusion that it could be thrown outside of it. That he could land here, today, in front of us, at our feet!

 

This painting is a very famous work by the artist Jean Honoré Fragonard 1767

Inspirations: The Rococo period and its artistic movement, based on my research and after several readings, paintings, and artefacts

« Rococo: Poésie & séduction. »

 

Cette « pantoufle » est une interprétation personnel du soulier porté dans la toile « Les Hasards heureux de l’escarpolette ». Une jeune femme en robe rose se balance, dévoilant ses jambes à son amant et tournant le dos à son mari. La pantoufle quitte son pied, s’élance et prends la trajectoire de la séduction.

Rêverie, le soulier de cette toile, outils de romance, crée l’illusion qu’il pourrait être projeter hors de sa toile. Qu’il pourrait amerrir ici, aujourd’hui, devant nous, à nos pieds!
